Thomas Bennett House, how do we love thee? Let me count the ways..

We asked why Robby + Hannah decided to have their wedding at the Governor Thomas Bennett House. Hannah said, [they] “toured many venues… but loved the quaint, historic and intimate venue at TBH”. The Governor Thomas Bennett House is a stunning historic home in Downtown Charleston, SC. It has beautiful architectural details and an amazing elliptical staircase. As you can imagine, Cory had an absolute BLAST in this venue and it shows in both Hannah’s Bridal Session and wedding!

Loraine Cook with Invitation Only, LLC helped Hannah + Robby design the perfect day! The colors were ruby, ivory, and gold. The wedding featured The Nancy Set, a beautiful heirloom seating set from Loraine’s collection. They do rentals too! 

And y’all don’t get me started on the cake! Kait, owner of Cakes by Kait (one of our favorite vendors), never disappoints! Literally, if the bride wants fresh blackberries on her cake- the girl will go to 10 different stores to find them!

If y’all only knew what goes on behind the scenes of someone’s big day!!!

I’m not sure if I am allowed to tell you this- but Cory has been slowly introducing film photos into our weddings! He absolutely fell in love with the film scans from Hannah’s Bridal Session. Film photos have a really pretty grain to them that you just can’t replicate with a preset. Please don’t let me know if you disagree- I’ll just forward you to Cory! 🤣
